Asking for Yuan

Today I was given permission to post about our need for the orphanage donation on the only group I feel akin to. It is $5300. dollars. We are praying that there will be lots of people with yuan/RMB laying around for their own previous trips that we will get enough donations to cover the 35000 yuan/RMB needed. I know... sounds crazy that we would get that much. I guess there is a part of me that hopes that people will see our need and be willing to simply help via RMB or US dollars.

I guess I feel awkward asking like that because... well... who am I?? Ya know? My case is not a special one. We simply stepped out in faith with no money and have come to the point of just needing this last 5300. The blog meter doesn't reflect it because I don't want to post the other money we are pulling together before we actually have it. My husband is gone right now working in NC for two months which will bring us a couple of grand. I am working from home which is another 600. And we have one more garage sale we are getting ready to do.

Anyway, if you feel led to give please do. We are not one of those families that will travel anyway if we don't raise this money. We have to raise it or we don't travel. As it is we have chosen to delay our travel until May to give time to pull the money together. I think we safely have another few weeks after that before we have to travel or lose the referral. And yes, if we don't pull it together we will lose the referral and all the money to the agency for their services. I spend much time praying over this adoption before we decided to step out in faith and I am still praying daily asking God for peace as I find myself stressing daily on if it will come together or not.

I'm sorry. I am whaa whaa whaa-ing. My stress coming through. I ask that if you are reading this and you don't have anything to donate that you will add us to your prayer list that these funds will come in for us so that we can travel in May as we are hoping and that we don't lose the referral due to inability to travel. It is killing me as it is to know we could travel the end of March but can't because of the funds we need. Please pray for our need.
