Hefei is in the Anhui provice... can you find Anhui?? :o)*


This is our itinerary. The thing that sticks out most to me is the "No lunch and dinner included." They asked us about touring and meals. I said I didn't need the touring or meals in Guangzhou. I didn't say anything about Hefei. Ooopps. They took it that I didn't want any at all. But they did tell me that each day I would have the services of the guide and could go sight seeing if I wanted to but would have to pay for entrance and transportation. My hotel info says there is a zoo less than a mile from the hotel. So we may only need the entrance fee as there is only really one day that we aren't busy doing official stuff. :o)*

Sunday, May 9: Fly from Beijing to Hefei on Air China Airlines flight (CA1843, departs at 12:30pm, your own tickets.) Upon arrival in Hefei, local guide will meet you for transfer to Holiday Inn Hotel. Relax the rest of the day.

Monday, May 10: Meet child in Hefei. (Meet child arrangement to be determined). No lunch and dinner included.

TuesdayMay 11Conduct adoption registration paperwork and notarization formalities and apply for childfs passport (time to be determined). No lunch and dinner included.

WednesdayMay 12:Wait for child's passport to be issued. Visit Hefei orphanage.
No lunch and dinner included.

Thursday, May 13: Free time. No lunch and dinner included.

Friday, May 14: Pick up adopted childfs passport. Fly to Guangzhou on Hainan Airlines flight(HU7040,15:50/17:47, Local guide has your tickets). Upon arrival in Guangzhou, Local guide Ms. Ann Zhong will help you to transfer to Garden Hotel No lunch and dinner included.

Saturday, May 15: Have childfs visa photos taken and go through the physical examination in the morning. No lunch and dinner included.

Sunday, May 16: Sightseeing in Guangzhou: Safari. No lunch and dinner included.

Monday, May 17: Free time. No lunch and dinner included.

Tuesday, May 18: At 09:30am, Local guide goes to US Consulate to submit orphan visa petition documents. Free time in the afternoon. No lunch and dinner included.

Wednesday, May 19: Free time in the morning. Go to US Consulate for the oath-taking ceremony. No lunch and dinner included.

Thursday, May 20: Go to US Consulate to get visa in the afternoon.
No lunch and dinner included.

Friday, May 21: Fly to Beijing (CA1330, departs at 10:00am, your own tickets) No lunch and dinner included.
