We are the Steve Family

We are the Steve Family. We have 11 children, four bio and seven, soon to be eight, adopted. I started this blog today to note the beginning of our journey to adopt our Miss Maggie. We have pictures but we don't feel right about posting them until we get our PA. Our LOI is sitting at the agency waiting for our social worker to finish our home study so they can send it out. These days there is a very restricted amount of time people have from the time they file their LOI and the time they get their dossier logged in. So many agencies, like the one we are working with, like to hold back on sending in the LOI until the home study is done. The little girl we are to adopt is on their private list of waiting special needs children so she won't be scooped up by anyone else. I am praying our home study is done within the next couple of weeks. I will post as things are accomplished or events occur. In the mean time, welcome to our journey. :o)*
